Bellies Abroad for Yogamama

If you are a English speaker mum to be in Rome this is the course for you! You will have the opportunity to be followed by two experienced midwives through your pregnancy and childbirth journey in Italy and to practice yoga

7 online and in-person meetings to understand how to prepare our mind and body for childbirth.

 

How does our body change during pregnancy?

What to expect during labour?

How to prepare physically for labour and birth?

What is the best position for childbirth?

Is it better to give birth with an epidural or without?

How to best control pain?

How to take care of the baby in the first few days?

How to cope with nights in the first period?

How to start breastfeeding in the best possible way?

How to write a birth plan?

These and many other questions we will help you answer!

 

A special focus on the choice of where to give birth (hospital, private clinic, birth centre or at home) to help you experience this extraordinary moment with confidence. 

Together we will try out different birthing positions, the efficacy of massages, and we will experience the deep connection between mind and body to explore the world of hypnobirthing, a prenatal programme that helps reduce anxiety and fear of childbirth. 

Our mission is to provide you with the necessary information so that you can have a birth as close as possible to the one you desire!

The course is entirely in English, designed for single women and couples.

This course is run by Gabriella Pacini, midwife and breastfeeding consultant IBCLC, and Elena Iannelli, midwife, IBCLC and hypnobirthing teacher.
